Replacing The Old Patio
The main reason for this upgrade was to replace the old patio roof. In this instance, a flat patio roof just wouldn’t match the house’s aesthetic, so we decided to propose the lovely, light curved roof that you see here!
It was important to create something breezy and open towards the beautiful waterfront which the home backed onto. The curved, white patio roofs add some wonderful sloping lines to the house, giving the entire structure a more pleasing shape. When you have so many other buildings able to look into your property, appearances matter. Needless to say that the new patio perfectly frames both the house and the view it offers!

The best patios look like they have been with the house the whole time. In fact, your home should feel naked when you picture it without the patio. But not every style is a win. Do you remember that scene in Harry Potter when he gets his wand? It’s kind of like that. The wand chooses the wizard – the patio chooses the home, not the other way around.
In this instance, the client wanted something that opened their space up and didn’t block any of the beautiful views they had in their backyard. They also wanted something sturdy that could be fitted with electrical appliances.
